Otto

Otto was the Green puppy from our “Under” litter. His family could tell right away that he was a special dog and named him after both strongman Otto Nowosielsky as well as the brave Otto Frank. He has certainly lived up to his name.

Otto was instantly welcomed into his new home by his older swissy “sister” Bertha and they have been incredible playmates and the best of friends ever since. Otto allows Bertha to take the lead in their relationship and is quick to be by her side for whatever she wants to do. Otto’s confidence allows him to engage with other dogs and humans warmly; all he really wants in life is to be cuddled and have somewhere to lean.

Otto is very obedient, and follows commands easily. He is a gentle and kind fellow. His family refers to him as 'our sunshine boy' because he lights up the world with his radiant smile. He enjoys making friends and laying out in the sun. Otto will always greet you and loves to come up to you when you’re working and see how you are doing. He loves you to pet his shiny coat and look into his sweet brown eyes. He is a big guy, but a gentleman who doesn't throw his weight around.

Otto finished his Championship quickly in just two sets of shows. He went to a 'smaller' show in November 2024 and won every day. Then February 2025 he made a trip up to the supported entries at the Renaissance Cluster in WI and won Best of Winners 3 of the 4 days to earn 2 big majors and finish his Championship. Otto lives with the Allman family near us in Ohio.
