Sonny was born here at Cherished Swissies on 12/20/07. He is from our first litter and is a Justus x Gentry son. He was the 'orange' puppy. He lives with and is co-owned with the Finch family from Galion, OH.
Sonny is pictured right earning his first WWD leg - he pulled enough to earn his leg his very first time in the weight pull chute!
Sonny finished his championship in October, 2009 and is our first home-bred champion. He was finished out of the Bred By Exhibitor class. He won Best of Winners (for a 5 pt. Major), Best Bred-By, and Best in Sweeps at the 2009 Midwest Regional Specialty. He finished with four majors (and 1 single pt.)
Sonny is a BIG boy - he is about 28" - 29" tall at the withers and weighs in at almost 130 as a very fit, going on two year old. Sonny has a ton of bone and will probably be putting on a lot more weight and substance as he matures.
Sonny is an absolute sweetheart and loves everyone he meets. He loves to romp and play with other dogs and to be the center of attention.
Sonny has a gorgeous topline, a beautiful head and expression, nice shoulder tie-in, nice length of neck, and a wonderful side-gait. Sonny passed his orthopedic health clearances as a two year old and has OFA Good Hips, Normal Elbows, and Normal Shoulders. He also has a clear CERF.
