Sonny was born here at Cherished Swissies on 12/20/07. He is from our first litter and is a Justus x Gentry son. He was the 'orange' puppy. He lives with and is co-owned with the Finch family from Galion, OH.

Sonny finished his championship in October, 2009 and was our first home-bred champion. He was finished out of the Bred By Exhibitor class. He won Best of Winners (for a 5 pt. Major), Best Bred-By, and Best in Sweeps at the 2009 Midwest Regional Specialty. He finished with four majors (and 1 single pt.). Sonny earned a leg towards his WWD his first time in the weight pull chute - now he just has two more to go!

Sonny is a BIG boy - he is about 29" tall at the withers and weighs in at almost 135 as a very fit three year old. Sonny has a ton of bone and is an absolute sweetheart and loves everyone he meets. He loves to romp and play with other dogs and to be the center of attention.

Sonny has a gorgeous topline, a beautiful head and expression, nice shoulder tie-in, nice length of neck, and a wonderful side-gait. Sonny passed his orthopedic health clearances with OFA Good Hips, Normal Elbows, and Normal Shoulders. He also has a clear CERF. Sonny is a proven stud dog with 9 puppies born in his first litter.
