Roark was born here at Cherished Swissies on 1/31/2010. He is from our third litter and is a Davy x Betty son. He was the 'light blue' puppy. He lives with and is co-owned with Amber Hodge in Massachusetts.

Roark finished his championship very quickly with limited showing. He has been taken out a few times as a special and received a Group 4 at the young age of only 20 months. He is the first Cherished dog to earn his Grand Championship, which he accomplished in just a few months after finishing his championship and before he even turned 2 years of age! Roark finished 2011 in the Top 20 for both breed and all breed point standings. He has gorgeous side gait, is very substantial, and has tons of breed type!

Roark is a big boy and weighs in at almost 130 as a going on two year old. He is the absolute biggest sweetheart. If Roark could talk he would say 'Hi, I'm Roark and I'm happy to be here!' - whether he is at the vet, the dog park, or just walking around the city he is just a happy boy. He doesn't realize how big he is and wants to play with everybody he meets (from tiny mice to not so nice cats). Roark will have his health clearances completed once he turns two years of age and then will be available for stud service to approved Greater Swiss Mountain Dog girls.
