Thanks for visiting our website, we are Kim and Doug Woollard and live in Waynesville, Ohio with our six dogs (five Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs and a rat terrier). We have a small 7 acre mini-farm with lots of room for the dogs to run around and play. We love our beautiful, country setting and thought what could be better than sharing our home with others and offering them a great place to keep their dogs when they have to go out of town. So, in 2012 we began offering luxury dog boarding. With a small number of dogs accepted we require all dogs to be friendly with people and other dogs. That way dogs can enjoy a home-like environment where they will have plenty of opportunities to run, swim, play and have fun. Less dogs, consistent opportunities to get outside and exercise and potty, and the same faces taking care of them each day gives dogs an ideal environment to relax and have fun while their owners are away. We especially love it when our past puppies get to come and stay with us!

Kim is an obedience instructor and works the dogs regularly at a local obedience club (Dayton Dog Training Club). Kim has put obedience, draft/carting, weight pull, and rally titles on the swissies and has dabbled in agility. Doug has put a            pack dog title on Gentry and is working on earning Betty's pack dog title as well!

We spend a lot of time going to dog shows, obedience trials, and local working events. We first became involved with Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs in 2003 when we purchased our first swissy, Montgomery. Gentry's December, 2007 litter was our first litter of Greater Swiss Mountain Dog puppies.

We are members of the Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club of America (GSMDCA) and also are active members of our regional Swissy club, the Crooked River Swissy Club.

Kim is president of the Crooked River Swissy Club, is an approved draft judge for the GSMDCA, and is currently the national draft work chair for the GSMDCA.

In the spring of 2009 we purchased our first
Katahdin hair sheep. We had had horses in the past but this was our first time with 'livestock'. The sheep proved as easy as everything we had read and we have now had multiple successful years of lambs. They are great mothers, have good parasite resistance, and are a hardy, healthy, low-maintenance breed for people new to sheep.

Our Katahdins came from
Jeff & Kathy Bielek of Misty Oaks Farms.
If you're ever looking for some nice sheep we would highly recommend them, they are wonderful to work with!

We also now have several chickens that free-range with the sheep and provide fresh eggs daily as well as several rabbits that we raise in a colony for as natural of an environment as possible. We strongly believe that animals should be raised as naturally as possible with others of their kind and plenty of room to stretch their legs and get fresh air, sunshine, and grass.

We love our Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs and love to share them with people. We are more than willing to set-up a time for people to come out and meet our dogs and us. All our dogs live in our home and our main priority is having fun with and enjoying our dogs and participating in activities with them. We only have one to two litters a year but we strive to produce healthy, temperamentally sound puppies that fit the standard and can be shown in conformation while also making excellent pets.
